Gymnastics

We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to explore a variety of physical activities in a safe, motivating and non-competitive environment.

These classes are designed to allow each student to develop new skills at their own pace. Each week children receive hand stamps or stickers for their efforts.

As students progress, their confidence is strengthened and they begin to understand that effort brings achievement.

Gymnastics classes are offered for the following age-groups:

Parent/Child Gymnastics Level 1
Walking – 3 years

Your toddler/child will be introduced to gymnastic equipment and learn skills that involve gross motor, balance, movement to music and hand/eye coordination. Equipment used is age appropriate. Parental Assistance is required for this program.

Gymnastics Level 2
3 – 4 years

This is a full gymnastics program using the Balance Beam, Horizontal Bar, Uneven Bars, Air Mat, and Tumbling skills. Coordination, body awareness and self-confidence are developed. This is a progression program. As each skill is learned, new challenges are added so students continue to learn at their own pace, session after session.

Gymnastics Level 3
4 – 5 years

Level 3 Gymnastics is appropriate for children who have a grounding in basic gymnastics, and will build on the skills learned at Level 2

Family Gymnastics
Mixed ages up to 5 years

This class is for families with young children up to age 5 who wish to attend together. The class will follow a similar format to those above. Parental assistance is required for children under 3 years.

Combination Class: Dance and Gymnastics
Age 3 – 5 ½ years

This class focuses on movement and beginning skills for children. The class will be a combination gymnastics class and dance class. The best of both!

Comfortable clothing is required for all gymnastics classes. No jeans please.
